100 Years of Fred Perry
The ISTD brief was to celebrate the number 100 through the use of typography. I chose to base the project around the centenary of Fred Perry. I investigated into the early years of Perry’s life and the subcultures that hijacked the brand through the past century. The book presents how I believe the subcultures and personalities associated are what create a love and following of the iconic British brand.
Fruit not Sugar
The Feel Good Drinks brief was simply ‘Fruit not Sugar’. To express how their drinks do not have any sugar in them I created a sugar cube character. The sugar cube is jobless because the drinks are sweet enough without any added sugar. Here is an example of how I captured different stereotypical jobless situations.
