Proposal for ‘Perfume’ entered into Penguin Design Award, based on the way the author made me feel when reading the text. A total onslaught of rich imagery, textures and scents.
Second proposal for ‘Perfume’. This idea was based on the notes and chords of scent blending together, with the epitome at the centre: the essence of virginal innocence.
Alice in Wonderland
Proposal for ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ entered into Puffin Design Award. The idea was to extend the ‘Design your Own Penguin’ cover series into the children’s range, with ‘Colour your Own Puffin’, to engage the intended audience and allow for customers to interpret Wonderland in their own unique way.
These pieces are stills of my major project; a web-based educational interface on languages, countries/cultures of the world (a contextual learning tool aimed at KS4 students). The interface operates in a game-esque sense, featuring many different forms of interactive learning, and works around the principle that a sense of progression and acquisition aids motivation to learn.
